Already in private beta on iPhone and Android
Meet the app your members already want.
NotSquat is a workout app that recognizes the exercise, counts the reps, and turns every session into a training history — and a pixel avatar that grows with it. We'd like your gym to help bring it to more lifters.
Partner Gym Program — Presentation Deck
How it works for your members
Train normally. The app does the counting.

The app recognizes the exercise and counts while they move.

Sessions become a training history, and a character that grows with it.

Members see the work behind their own progress.
No wearables, no manual logging. Live today in private beta for iPhone and Android.
The ask
Two ways your gym can partner with us.
Track A — App partner gym
Help your members discover and use the app. Support real reads logged on your floor, and help us shape gym-level community features — the parts of NotSquat that work better when a whole gym is training together.
Track B — Camera R&D partner
Today's app runs on a member's phone. The next step is R&D toward using the security cameras already in your gym, so reps and equipment use can be captured automatically — no phone required.
Gyms can join either track, or both.
Track A — App partner gym
Bring the app to your floor.
Your gym contributes
- Introduce the app to your members.
- Encourage real reads logged during real training.
- Feedback on "gym vs. gym" and community features.
NotSquat contributes
- Private-beta access for your members.
- Direct input into the product roadmap.
- Gym-level features shaped with your feedback.
Track B — Camera R&D partner
The next step beyond the phone.
Your gym's cameras are a research opportunity, not a finished product. We want to work with a small number of partner gyms to see whether the same rep-and-equipment intelligence the app captures on a phone can also come from cameras already mounted on the floor.
This is early R&D. It is a separate, opt-in track from the app partnership above, with its own agreement on access and data handling.
Honest about the current stage
Where each track actually stands.
The app is real and working — in private beta today.
The camera track is not: the technical components exist, but the complete pipeline still requires integration and validation in real gym conditions. NotSquat does not yet have validated results, production performance figures, or a settled video-processing and retention architecture for it. This deck won't imply otherwise — and neither will we, once we're working together.
Who we're looking for
The ideal partner gym.
- An independent strength or bodybuilding gym.
- Led by an owner who can make facility and community decisions.
- Members willing to try the app and give honest feedback.
- For Track B: cameras already installed that may be technically suitable.
- Willing to collaborate on goals, access, and data handling.
Applications remain open. Partners are selected as capacity allows.
The plan
Three steps, in order.
Tell us about the gym, your members, and which track (or both) fits.
Agree on goals, access, success criteria, and data handling before connecting anything.
Roll the app out to members and/or the early camera dashboard, and help us refine both.
What success looks like
No invented numbers required.
- Members are actually using the app on real training days.
- Gym-level community features reflect what your members actually want.
- For Track B: the camera pipeline works in a representative strength-gym environment, and its limitations are documented honestly.
- At least one real decision — for the member or the gym — is better informed because of it.
What we won't say yet
Claims we will not make until they're earned.
Until the relevant behavior or outcome is implemented and verified, we will not claim:
- Privacy-preserving, local, anonymous, or zero-retention camera processing.
- Camera-based customer deployments, testimonials, or case studies.
- A specific accuracy, latency, or coverage level for the camera R&D track in a real gym.
- Guaranteed retention, revenue, safety, insurance, or ROI outcomes.
Commercial pricing after the partner stage is undecided.
Next step
Apply to become a partner gym.
Bring the app to your members, help us build toward camera-based R&D, or both. Partners are selected as capacity allows.
